Do's and Don'ts
Do's:
Always start and end your work period punctually in the POS system on a daily basis.
After completing a successful payment, always close the ticket. This will make the table appear vacant. Otherwise, it will continue to show up as occupied.
Instruct your employees not to share their PINs and login information with each other.
Add a billing printer to the front end of the POS system every day to start billing.
In case you are using the Foodship’s POS Employee Management module,
Every employee must mark the break time in the POS system while taking a break. This will provide accurate break timing data for the admin.
b. Every employee should check in and out according to their designated schedules so that POS can calculate total working hours accurately and admin has precise employee reports.
Don'ts:
Do not forget to close the ticket after processing a payment. Failing to do so will result in the table appearing occupied.
The POS operator should not end the day without ending the work period in the POS system. This will lead to discrepancies in reports.
