How to generate pin for QR Code order?

Enable PIN-based security

  • Foodship offers “pay after” function with PIN-based security “ so that customer can enjoy their food first and make payments later for QR code orders with the help of PIN.

  • PIN-based security protects QR code orders from spam orders.

  • PIN generation will let the customer pay via cash for QR code orders.

Admin can enable this function from the admin panel -

Select Setting section → General → QR orders → select Yes {see above image POS - Admin pane}

Generate PIN for QR code orders

  1. In POS front-house - select PIN option from the settle screen.

The user is required to generate the PIN of the table that the customer wants


  1. Provide the generated PIN to the customer and continue with the order as usual.

When the customer input the generated PIN on the checkout page or mobile and proceeds order → QR code order will automatically display on the POS screen with QR code symbol
