Item Reporting by Tags
In your Point of Sale (POS) frontend, you can generate item reports using reporting tags. For instance, if you want to see how many vegan items or newly added menu options were ordered during a specific work period, this feature provides a clear summary
To use this reporting feature:
A) Enable Reporting Settings
Ensure that reporting settings are enabled in the POS backend. Here's how:

Enable Reporting Settings
Step 1 - Log in to your POS backend. Go to Settings → select General Settings.
Step 2- Click on the Report Settings tab and make sure the relevant report option is set to "Yes".
B) Create a Reporting Tag
To track specific items, you’ll need to create the reporting tag first. For example, to track vegan or kids’ menu items, follow these steps:

Create a Reporting Tag
Step 1 - Go to Settings → select Create Tag.
Step 2- Click on the Tag button in the top-right corner, enter the tag name (e.g., "Vegan" or "Kids"), and then click Submit.
C) Apply/Attach the Tag to Menu Items
Once the tag is created, attach it to the relevant menu items in the POS backend:

Apply/Attach the Tag to Menu Items
Step 1- Go to Items section→ select Menu.
Step 2- Click on Update Reporting Tag and apply the appropriate tags to the menu items.
Viewing the Results in the POS Frontend: Once the tags are applied, you can view the reports in the frontend, organized by the tags you created.
