How to add a category in the menu?

To add categories in the menu follow these simple steps :

Step 1 - Click on the “Item” section.

Step 2 - Select ‘category” from the drop-down menu and click on the “add new category” button in the top right corner.

Step 3 - Enter the category’s name, choose color of the categories' box | font | border, and upload a picture (if needed).

Step 4 - Change category status to “active” and click on the “submit” button.

Adding a category in the menu

The category will not be visible on the POS frontend until we add a menu (items) in it.

Result - POS frontend will look like this 👇🏻

Below are all the categories that contain menu (items) in them (this is the default position of categories, you can change it as per your convenience by editing in the settings)

Sub Category

how to add a sub-category in the menu?

To add sub category in the menu follow these simple steps :

Step 1 - Click on the “Item” section.

Step 2 - “Select “sub category” from the drop-down menu and then click on the “add new sub category” button in the top right corner.

Step 3 - Select a category and enter the sub category’s name, choose the color of the sub category’s box | font | border and upload a picture (if needed).

Step 4 - Change sub category status to “active” and click on the “submit” button.
